제가 좋아하는 노래 또 하나 올려봅니다. Radiohead의 Creep인데요. 여러 가수들이 부르기도 했었죠. 그래도 뭐니뭐니해도 Radiohead가 부른 버전이 가장 퇴폐적이고 음울한 분위기를 잘 살리지 않았나 싶습니다. 왠지 분위기가 처지는 기타 소리에 읊조리는 보컬이 인상적이지 않나요?
근데 라디오에서 어떤 DJ가 그러는데 정작 Radiohead 본인은 이 노래를 별로 좋아하지 않았다고 하네요. 그래서 중간에 나오는 일렉트릭 기타의 강렬한 파열음도 그런 의미에서 낸건데, 그게 오히려 매력이 되어버렸다는... 사실 여부를 떠나 재밌는 에피소드네요.
